Sanitization in place system

Sanitization in Place (SIP) systems are designed to ensure that the manufacturing equipment is free of microorganisms that could contaminate the products. SIP systems use either hot water, chemicals, or a combination of both to sterilize the equipment. The SIP system operates similarly to the CIP system, but it uses sterilizing agents like vaporized hydrogen peroxide, ozone, or superheated water vapor to kill microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses, spores, and fungi from the surfaces of the equipment.
