purified water station modification

purified water station modification

Based on the client’s request to upgrade the production and pharmaceutical water pipelines (WFI & PW), we provide integrated solutions using the highest-quality materials and orbital welding techniques. Our scope of work includes borescope inspections to verify weld quality, passivation to ensure corrosion resistance and maintain water purity, as well as full documentation and validation packages in compliance with GMP standards.

Purified water systems are a fundamental part of the pharmaceutical industry, as they provide the high-purity water required for various stages of production. The quality of this water is a key factor in ensuring the safety and effectiveness of pharmaceutical products. Through continuous upgrades and modifications to purified water stations, we offer a range of advanced solutions such as:

• RO Double Pass Station

This system is an advanced upgrade to conventional RO units, where water passes through two consecutive RO membrane stages. This process significantly increases purity and reduces total dissolved solids (TDS). It is widely used in pharmaceutical production, laboratories, and dialysis applications, while also extending membrane lifetime and improving operational efficiency.

• RO Mixed Bed Station

An advanced addition to RO systems, combining reverse osmosis with mixed-bed ion exchange (cation/anion resins). This setup ensures complete removal of both ionic and non-ionic impurities, producing ultra-pure water free from bacteria and viruses, widely applied in pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.

• RO-DI (Distillation) Station

A system that integrates reverse osmosis with distillation. First, dissolved solids are removed via RO; then, remaining organic and inorganic impurities, along with bacteria and viruses, are eliminated through distillation. The result is ultra-pure water required in pharmaceutical and biotech industries.

• RO-EDI (Electrodeionization) Station

A state-of-the-art solution combining RO with electrodeionization (EDI). This technology removes ions continuously through electrically driven ion exchange membranes, delivering consistent high-purity water without the need for frequent chemical regeneration. Commonly used in pharmaceutical applications and power generation plants.
