MUP - Design of Piping Network for Variants Production Lines (Antiseptics and Ointments)

The piping network for the variable production lines has been designed to serve two main production streams:

1- Liquid antiseptics production line (Povidone Iodine), such as Betadine.

2- Ointments production line, such as Betadine ointment.

The network has been configured to:

• Keep the lines separate to prevent cross-contamination between liquid and ointment products.

• Utilize materials and piping fully compliant with pharmaceutical GMP standards.

• Ensure independent maintenance, cleaning, and sterilization (CIP/SIP) for each line without affecting the other.

In summary, the company ensures dedicated production lines for each product type, with specialized sub-lines for high-quality liquid products like Povidone Iodine, guaranteeing safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
